It is convenient to use the manual focus mode when shooting a subject which is difficult to focus on, such as through a net or window glass, or when you want to preset a shooting distance according to the distance to a subject.

You can set the desired distance using the manual focus bar in the range from 1cm to infinity.

Notes:
You can use the manual focus mode when the mode dial is set to P, S, A, M, MOVIE, and Face detection is set to Off.

The focus range is limited according to the zoom scale or the setting of Conversion Lens. If the manual focus indicator flashes, it reaches the limitation of the range.The distance setting information is approximate, so please use it just as a reference.
